Chad Muska's Supras have been growing in popularity ever since the skate brand first launched. But are the shoes really worthy of all the hype? Let's take a close look at what every sneaker publication on the planet is raving about.
Style
I admit, the
Supra Comakazi Skytop is super sleek. One thing this brand has going for itself is an eye for style. The shoe features a full suede toe box, patent crocodile skin backing, red leather, and synthetic zebra fur accents. The bottom of the soles are all red and feature the Supra logo in the center in white.
Comfort and Fit
Not only are these shoes comfortable, but very durable as well. Originally constructed for skaters, the Supras have become darlings for people of all subcultures. Women can easily wear these sneakers and some skaters will swear that these are some of the best skate shoes ever.Design
Externally, the Supras are exceptionally designed. However, like the
leather
Vans Old Skool high tops, there are some slight defects in the actual design of the shoe. If you put a pair on and look straight down, you will notice the front curve around the toes is not symmetrical with its other twin. The actual shape of the shoe is slightly deformed.
When you look at a pair online, you get a different perspective from the real thing. What appears to look thick and chunky is actually narrow and thin. If you like slim, narrow kicks then the Supras are for you. If not, don't waste your time. Browse further down the aisle or scroll down the page in your web browser to find a more suitable sneaker selection.
Conclusion
You won't be happy with these kicks unless you just want to look at them. If you are a woman, then please go ahead. These kicks are for you if you can ignore the slight flaws. But in all honestly, the Comakazi Skytop is not worth the buzz. But I will keep you posted on what is.
