City Styles

There are actually two City Styles on Ste.-Catherine - so I'm not sure which one this is exactly, but they pretty much carry the same stock (10Deep, Crooks, etc.). It's much more urban-focused than OTH so if you're a young buck or planning to film a rap video, this is the place to shop. Huge selection of kicks and some pretty cheap finds on one-off last-size-left heat (i.e. saw a pair of Savage Beast AF1s kicking around). Finally, the biggest selection of fitteds I saw in my time in Montreal. And all of this in sizes too. Staff was pretty helpful as well - we were looking for a Baby G and after not finding what we were after, one of the guys told us about other watch shops on Ste.-Catherine that would have more Baby Gs. He was right because my friend did end up buying a perfect G-Shock. All in all, good staff and huge selection of gear from head to toe. Pretty impressed - if I was a few years younger or was just starting my 'collection', I would have dropped a few paycheques here. 1186 Rue Sainte-Catherine W Montreal, QC H3B 1K1

Off the Hook

Off The Hook has always been at the forefront of bringing new and upcoming labels to the city of Montréal, a task the team takes on with their own distinctive pride and excitement. The store offers a pretty wide selection of streetwear, ranging from your usual suspects to harder to find brands. Their website and blog does a pretty good job listing the type of stock they sell, so be sure to check it out before prowling the store. The staff is super friendly and the store is jam-packed with goodies.
